Green Zone Wellness

Green Zone Wellness (GZW) is a veteran-led nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the mental, emotional, and physical well-being of veterans through peer support, nature-based activities, and holistic wellness education.

Founded by a combat veteran who witnessed firsthand the struggles many service members face after returning home, GZW was created to provide community, purpose, and non-pharmaceutical approaches to healing. Many veterans experience challenges such as PTSD, traumatic brain injuries, anxiety, and isolation. Green Zone Wellness offers supportive spaces where veterans can reconnect with others who understand their experiences.

Our programs focus on holistic and alternative wellness practices that help veterans build healthier lifestyles and regain a sense of balance. Current and planned initiatives include:

Peer support gatherings that create safe spaces for veterans to talk and connect

Nature hikes and outdoor activities that promote mental wellness and community
